Cake in a Cup NY is a specialty cupcake and cake company located in Bronxville. We do not have a storefront location at this time. Our products are baked and prepared in a commercial kitchen.
Our custom cakes are baked with fresh ingredients. Our products may contain or be exposed to milk, egg, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
Our products are baked within 24 hours of event time. We recommend that cupcakes be consumed within hours of the event for the best taste and freshness. Our cakes will remain fresh 2 – 4 days by tightly wrapping with saran wrap and kept in the refrigerator. But since they will be all gone, there will be no need for this step. 0:)
Your cake must sit level in your vehicle. The space around the cake needs to be air conditioned, especially in the summer and the cake needs to be kept out of direct sunlight too. The trunk is not a good place to transport your cake. Lastly the driver needs to drive carefully. Once the cake/cupcakes are picked up my responsibility for it ends. I can not be held liable for damages caused in transit, or if the cake is moved once I set it up on location.
We require a minimum order of one dozen in each flavor. Currently we do not offer a variety in the dozen box. Minis are minimum four dozen per flavor.
Price quotes will depend on design, details, complexity of decoration and serving size. Cupcakes start at $30 per dozen, designs are additional cost, Minis are $60 for 48 minis (per flavor) and custom cakes will start at $125. Please give us a call for a price quote. A 50% deposit is due within 24 hours of invoice being created in order to ensure your event date and to confirm your order, the balance is due 10 days prior to the event. Invoices will cancel if not paid by the due date provided on the invoice. Orders placed within 10 days of the delivery date have to be paid in full when order is placed.
Yes, we offer payment options for large orders, 50% of your total is required to hold the date and will be considered a non-refundable deposit. The balance of your order is due in full 10 days before the event date.
All requests for order cancellations must be made in writing to Cake in a Cup NY. 50% of your total order will be a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit up to 10 weeks before your event date. We will grant you a 25% refund of your total order amount within 5 days of your event date.

We do not ship any of our products due to the fragile details in our designs. We are happy to deliver our cakes, delivery fees vary depending on the distance. All delivery prices start at $25.
Tastings are $35 per cupcake flavor to sample. Payment must be made in full to hold your tasting/consultation appointment. If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 1 week in advance. In the event that an appointment is missed or cancelled less than 1 week before the appointment your credit card will not be refunded. During the hour tasting and consultation, we will discuss the design of your cake, pictures, invitations, etc. are welcomed and will help me design the perfect cake for your event. The tasting lasts 1 hour and we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your full hour.
Yes, orders are available for pick up.
Customized specialty cakes and large cupcake orders require a 2 – 3 week lead time. This ensures that we not only meet but exceed your expectations.
